Nice upswing recently as Q4OS has moved to 27 in the 1 week ranking. A lot of good press and local reviews seem to be helping from various sites/forums.

I just did a review on distrowatch, and reading through the other reviews recognised one I did before.
I mentioned Q4os on hackaday forum, helps to spread the word. ( 27 on last seven days)

Thanks johnrpm, thats what we need. The Distrowatch reviews associated with a distro get a fair number of hits, so the more reviews the better chance someone will give it a try.
Even though all distros get a boost when new versions are released, its important to try and maintain a decent average ranking, so more people will consider trying Q4OS.

Spotted a lot of posts on various forums about Q4OS as it seems to be coming up more in general Linux discussions. Its become a favorite at a few sites with favorable reviews, that we've posted here onsite. Hopefully the release of the stable Scorpion Debian 9 version will spark much more interest and new reviews.

Big fall back to 73 in one week even though its holding at 53 in the 6 month rating. More reviews again would really help.

Ranking hasnt been good as it dropped to 83 and has been stagnant with no significant number of new reviews. The release of Scorpion at some point may spark some added interest.

Rankings have been tumbling of late to 94 with no new reviews listed. Hopefully the Debian 9 based release will move Q4OS up higher and gain more attention.

I have noticed that on my website the traffic has increased to between 80 and 220 page hits per day and received around 6000 hits last month, and considering that it is pretty much all Q4OS related I think that's pretty good. Also I noticed this quote from the Debian Forum recently from a prominent member
PS: plus one for Q4OS. should i ever need to install linux for a windows user on an old machine, it will be q4os.

Most of the forums where Ive found interest in Q4OS, its mainly been from Windows crossover users. The numbers on your site are encouraging. Distrowatch is definitely not the only gauge to success. Great comment from the Debian forum and mirrors what Ive seen on forums like lxer.com.

Yes, I think distrowatch is good for finding new distros, but users new to Linux don't usually visit there first (I don't think so anyway) I was using Linux for a couple of years before I even heard of distrowatch, although I think the search engines would probably point to them sooner in the search results nowadays.

Distrowatch is definitely number one in searches and many sites and tech sites link to it as well. I did some work for them years ago and was amazed by the amount of traffic they got.
I visited them the first year I became a Linux user to do some comparing of distros.
