It's possible install Q4OS on a Orange Pi board?
Offline
We haven't tested it, but at least Q4OS ARM Debian port should be ok - http://www.q4os.org/dqa012.html
If the Orange Pi is able to operate under Raspbian, we are pretty sure you can use Q4OS for Raspberry Pi as well - http://www.q4os.org/dqa010.html

Very interesting... I'm looking to buy one of these boards to test, and try install Q4OS them.
They are much cheaper than RaspberryPI and an upper hardware. All that remains is whether the performance and compatibility are satisfactory.
Orange Pi PC (1.6 GHz quad-core CPU and 1 GB RAM DDR3)

Good evening,
My tests to run Q4OS on Orange Pi Plus 2E are being successfully completed.
I have already found the best Debian-based distribution to perform a fresh installation. Soon I will be posting a tutorial of the procedure and provide a ready image available.
I'm just finding a strange error, when I was doing some more tests today, and I tried to install the Full Profile today, and presented this error:
"Unsufficient hardware detected !
Your CPU lacks SSE2 support, SSE2 is necessary for required software."
But in this last Tuesday, 2017-07-02, I was able to install the Full Profile normally, and no error happened...
Were there any update in any package or script that might be causing this problem with OPI PLUS 2E?

Were there any update in any package or script that might be causing this problem ...
Yes, it was caused by the bug in the recent desktop profiler update. The bug was related to ARM architecture only and it's already fixed. You only need to perform system update:
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
and run profiler once again.

I recorded a new SD card and re-run the Q4OS installation procedure.
This time the Full Profile is installed, but at the end of the procedure the following error appears:
What it is?

Segmentation fault, it could be caused by some hardware or software fail. We would recommend you to rerun Software profiler once again. If you notice this message again, please send the logfile /tmp/.dskprofiler-adminq.tmp.log via e-mail support@q4os.org to analyze.
Edit: Listing from Software profiler widow would be helpful too.

Ok, I will make a new test again and after I give a feedback!

I formatted the SD card again, then reinstalled Q4OS, then installed the Full Profile and this time the process occurred without any problem!
Perfect!
It's lovely to see Q4OS running on an Orange Pi board ...
Thank you!
