Dev-Pack
I wanted to install only the required packages to create .esh files, is this possible without installing the whole dev-pack?

No, there are essential scripts and tools in the 'q4os-devpack' package. It you install 'q4os-devpack' , it will pull all dependencies as well. You could only use the custom-built modified 'q4os-devpack' package with removed dependencies, however we wouldn't recommend that.
