Thunar removal ?

Since installing KDEConnect,,, Thunar has gone bonkers (see image).

Its WAS simple,  I plug in a USB, using Thunar to retrieve an old file,,, when the USB stops flashing, its done. Un-plug it.

Not since Windows-4-Workgroups have I had to interrupt what I was doing, to UN-MOUNT a  USB drive.

I have since installed other file manglers that "disconnect" on demand.

Is this newly added feature related to the KDEConnect application ?
It Konnects a PhoneCam taking snapshots (from my 35mmSlideProjector), then xfers the images to Q4OS.
Can I safely remove Thunar ?   Does KDEConnect need it ?

Your help is appreciated smile

Re: Thunar removal ?

Windows still wants you to "safely remove" any USB drives before removing them. If you don't, you risk corrupted or missing files.

KDE Connect does not need Thunar.

Re: Thunar removal ?

Good news !   Thunar has been removed.  Q4 is OK.

For everyday stuff - I use PCmanFM.
For house-keeping lots of files - I use POLO.     POLO  has a safety-feature - there's no DRAG & DROP   ;>}

Windows still ???   Back when I used XP.1.2.3.4.5 etc, etc,  I needed a STILL !
