TDE Network Manager connection attempt failed SSDI not found! [SOLVED]

Dear all,

I am new to the community and also new to Q4OS, so apologies if this topic has already been solved and I am asking about it again.

I have seen some answers to my own problem, but when I put in practice those answers and/or solutions aren't working for me, so I will set my specific data so probably it is a software/hardware related issue.

I am currently connected to the internet using a LAN cable, but I would like to connect also using WI-FI, with other linux distributions such as LXLE and Peppermint, however, my Acer is not as fast and strong anymore as it used to be so, I am giving a try to Q4OS, except for the issue of the WI-FI connection, everything is fantastic with this distro, so I have opened the Terminal - Konsole and typed the command:

inxi -f

and this is the result:

Adding the requested information suggested by the link below:

In order to get support, or report an issue on this forum, please follow a few rules below when creating a new topic in the "Q4OS Support" section.
Please provide the following info:
- Installation media image file, or a method, you have used for system installation.
The process that I have used to install the system is through the image file: q4os-5.2-i386-instcd.r2.iso using an usb flash memory device, I did not use Rufus, I have used Ventoy to install the system in my laptop.
- Desktop environment you are using (Plasma, Trinity, ... other).
The Desktop environment I am using according to the own description of the System is Trinity
- Desktop software profile applied, using the Desktop profiler tool (Full, Basic, Pure, Custom).
I have used the Desktop profiler tool “Full”
- A brief description and steps to reproduce the issue.
- Screenshot, if possible.
When I see the wi-fi options that I get from the Netwrok Manager tool, I select the option that corresponds to my wi-fi connection, there are actually two, but when I select any of the two options, I got the same error message: I will add the screenshot attached in a next post because only one attachement is allowed per post.
In most cases it's helpful to get some relevant debug information from your system for us to be able properly investigate an issue. Please run in terminal:
$ reportq4 please see the report attached
and send the debug file generated via email support@q4os.org , or attach it here for us to analyze.
If you report a hardware related issue, please run in terminal:
$ inxi -F
and post back the terminal output. The output of the command inxi -F is in my previous post

If you need some more info, please let me know.

Sorry to bother again, but please post the output of inxi -Fxxx, because inxi -F does not provide all information about hardware. But inxi -Fxxx even gives Chip ID!

The problem is, I do not have similar hardware as you have, so I can not provide you with the direct solution to your problem. The only thing I can do is to point you to another possible solutions in the Debian forum or rest of the Internet, but you will have to test them by yourself.
The good thing, you can connect to the internet using LAN cable, otherwise, you would be screwed.
So, the first thing, try to install the Network Manager using Q4OS Software Centre (see attachment). Sometimes, it is enough to solve the WiFi problem, because the default TDE Network Manager does not working well with WiFi Adapters.

And try the solutions, described there.

Hello Rademes, you are a genius, Now I could connect to the wi-fi using the first oprion you gave me. I installed the Network Manager using Q4OS Software Center, after restarting the laptop, IT WAS POSSIBLE to connect to the wi-fi. I think we can close this thread now. Thank you very much again, you have helped me a lot.

I am not a genius! It is a well known fact, that installing the Network Manager using Q4OS Software Centre can solve WiFi connection problems.
Please mark the title of the first post as [SOLVED]. To do it Edit original post and change the topic subject.
