cannot install Q4os...

hello..

install screen shows:

Create new 50,000MB partition on /dev/sda with the file system  EXT4
Create new 1,000MB   partition on /dev/sda with file system FAT32
Flag 1000MB Fat32    partition as ESP

install Q4os on new ext4 system partition
setup new fat32 partition with mount point /boot/efi

then i click on  " install "

get error message dialogue page:

the installer failed  to create partition on disk 'ATA ST2000DM08-2FRI'
Failed to add 'new partition to device /dev/sda.

tried to install this 3 times and same error message each time.

trying to install  otherwise...gives me a popup error message that says 'go back and create fat32 part with flag /boot/esp.

so what am i missing here?

Re: cannot install Q4os...

NEVER MIND !  I figured out the solution.  the extended partition needed to be enlarged to the max.

don't see how to mark this as solved in the title.

Glad you solved it! To mark the thread as solved, just edit the first post, and add (SOLVED) in the title. That's it. smile
