Display of menu

Hi, using brand new install of Q4OS, 64-bit.  Pressing the Windows key brings up a nice menu with favorites, etc.  The favorites are all listed with the genre (Web Browser, Mail Client, etc.) and then the app name below it.  Is there some way to display the app name in large print above the genre, that is, switch the display order?  Thanks.

Re: Display of menu

Depends on which version you are using, but you need to get to Control Centre>Appearance>Menus  You'll see an option to alter how the program names are displayed - Name + Description etc etc. That may provide the result you are looking for.

Re: Display of menu

Okay, so I'm using the KDE version.  There aren't any such prompts in this version.  I've looked in Settings, but can't find anything to change the menu layout.  Any help for this old codger will be much appreciated!

Re: Display of menu

Just checking to see if this issue can be addressed.  I like the KDE desktop better than the Trinity desktop, so I hope I can get to keep it.  Thanks.

Re: Display of menu

Okay, just figured it out.  Right click on the Menu button, choose Application Launcher Settings, and click on Show Applications by Name.  Much easier than I thought.
