Re: Systemback for Q4OS

I am very sorry to see that Sytemback now shows as Development Suspended - the developer has personal matters requiring attention. This is just such a useful tool, I don't think there's anything else quite like it- let's hope it is only temporary.

Re: Systemback for Q4OS

Systemback is such a cool program for making installer CD's of your current build.

Thank You Q4OS Team for making a ESH install for Systemback.

Re: Systemback for Q4OS

I tried the customized Systemback published about one year ago in sourceforge.net/projects/q4os/files/apps_experimental , but it seems not working; during the boot of a generated iso I get an error. Is it not working for Q4OS 2.4 based on Stretch?

@lucbertz
Yes, it's compatible with old stable Q4OS Orion only.

Re: Systemback for Q4OS

I gave up with Systemback. Using Linux Live Kit (https://www.linux-live.org/) and a 4.4 kernel with aufs support I finally obtained a portable Q4OS.

Re: Systemback for Q4OS

Systemback is being developed again. Current version 1.9.4 on Sourceforge May 2020. Suggest adding it to your Q4OS  .esh installer.

Re: Systemback for Q4OS

Still, Systemback is not supported by its creator anymore.
I use Timeshift and Clonezilla now.

Before asking for help please read this topic: https://www.q4os.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=3502   If you have problems with WiFi network, try to install the Network Manager using Q4OS Software Centre.

Just because an ubutu PPA has not been updated doesn't mean the software has not been updated smile

Exactly bin and I tried it and it works very well.
