Krita, Inkscape, VirtualBox, SMPlayer even and VLC media player.

Yes, we can confirm QT5 applications don't follow the LXDE system font settings:
Start menu > Preferences > Customize look and feel > Default font
You could try to add the following line into file /etc/environment:
QT_STYLE_OVERRIDE=gtk

What you need is qt5ct plus qt5-style-plugins

qt5ct plus qt5-style-plugins not work properly. Already tried.

I go back to Q4OS 2.7 and keep only TDE. This version 2.7 is much better for now. For me
