To See NFTS Drives & connect via Wifi must install Network Manager

Network Manager installer is part of the Q4OS Software Centre - Installer.

Menu Button --> Programs --> Accessories --> System --> Q4OS Software Centere - Install Applications

You will need to install this on your Q4OS system if you want to:

- Make changes to your network devices, i.e.,  Network card usually eth0 or eth1

- Connect to a Wifi Network either open or secure.

- See Samba File Share partitions on NTFS hard drives.

(all that I know at this time, will update as I learn more)

I'm using wpa_gui. At least that works.

You don't need to install extra software to connect to a wifi network. The best way is to use built-in 'tdenetworkmanager' tool from system tray.

Re: To See NFTS Drives & connect via Wifi must install Network Manager

Maybe the tdenetworkmanager works fine on X86 and X64 Systems, but on the raspberry pi I needed to install wpa_gui before I could login to my wifi Network. As far as I can remember I think I noticed something in the line of 'eth0 and wlan0 devices not  managed'.

Right, if you want to use tdenetworkmanager on Raspberry Pi, you would have to install it and reconfigure networking to be managed by Network Manager. Keep in mind, Network Manager is not as effective as default RPi networking tools and eats some system resources. Using wpa_gui is a bit more efficient.
